Mayhem: Faith No More - From Out of Nowhere

When Faith No More first exploded, I had mixed emotions about them....I knew they rocked but I knew that their sound was gonna take metal/hard rock in a direction that I wasn't sure I wanted it to go. With the passage of time, I'm convinced these guys were truly one of the best bands of their time. Saw them with Soundgarden once and it was one of the best shows I've ever seen.

FNM and Cheap Trick are my two fav bands. King For A Day, Fool For A Lifetime is a brilliant record that has been in my monthly rotation for nearly 15 years now.

FNM was probably just too damn good to appeal to a wide audience for the long term. Kinda like Living Colour...I always use their cover of Easy as what a good cover should be. The constant lineup changes didn't help...seemed they changed band members like Spinal Tap changed drummers. I think the 90's was an awful decade for rock music but FNM was at the head of the class.
