Black Crowes on Letterman 1994

Sure, they may not have been the most "original" band, but the Black Crowes are one of the greatest rock bands EVER. I dare you to find a singer with a better voice than Chris Robinson. Hell of a nice guy too. Play it loud.

I even like Lions. Great rock and roll band.

Was Soul Singin' on that one? I love Robinson's vocal on that. Goodbye Daughters of the Revolution is a killer, killer tune. Sadly, Crowes Mach III guitarist Audley Freed now partnered up with John Waite in what is rumored to be yet another version of Bad Company.

Soul Singing, Greasy Grass River and many other gems. There are one or two clunkers on it but still a damn fine record.

I must confess, when they went thru their jam band/allman bros lite phase, I lost some interest. There was just something incredibly organic about their sound that I was really attracted to. I'm happy they are back together...hopefully, they'll do more dates this summer.
