Crimson Glory

What do you get when you cross prog metal with Phanton of the Opera? Crimson Glory. I think I liked this band once but I must confess I was drinking a lot then and wasn't even sure of my own name. You know your band is lame when the members are wearing masks. But it was the 80s and bands decided they needed something to be noticed (for instance, Motley Crue chose to suck). Here they are kids, the Slipknot of the 80s, your Rocktober Feature Artist of the Day, Crimson Glory and Lonely.

There was a brief period where everyone I knew thought that Crimson Glory was the greatest band ever. Then we all moved on and promptly forgot about them. They should reform with Buckethead on geetar.

Dood, you missed a helluva show Saturday night, the Dog and Bucket blew the doors off the place and I got my vinyl copy of AC/DC's Blow Up Your Video autographed by Simon Wright.

Ignore my comments on your earlier post...I see you have a mini Bucket/Dog review here. I knew I'd regret missing that show but I had no choice but to be a good parent and see my daughter sing at school.
Good turnout?

I think the Crimson Glory bandwagon lost a wheel when the lead singer Midnight left...that or their fanbase sobered up.

Rt. 33 is a small roadhouse, it will probably seat around 175-200 and it was packed, barely a spot to sit or stand. If you've never been there, you should make the trek, he has tons of great acts stop thru and the food is top notch. Not a bad seat in the house.
