Black 'N' Blue

Sure Gene Simmons struck gold when he "discovered" Van Halen (of course he suggested they call themselves Daddy Longlegs). Gene also was behind this behind the not so legendary Black N' Blue. Of course, I had all their records. Some of them I even liked. I looked all over for their video to Nasty Nasty but couldn't find it. Turns out Black N' Blue was nothing more than a Triple A team for other bands. Lead singer Jamie St. James now plays the role of Jani Lane in Warrant and guitar player Tommy Thayer now appears as Ace Frehley in Kiss. Its todays Rocktober Feature Artist, Black N'Blue with I'll Be There For You.

Without Love & Nasty, Nasty are two kick ass records. I had Without Love on cd and sold it on ebay for $110.00 a few years back. I think WL is a great record but not 110 bucks great, so now I make do with the vinyl version.

I enjoyed both of those records very much too. Have both on vinyl (somewhere). Miss Mystery was one of my fave power ballads tho I listened to it not long ago and it hasn't aged well. I think had they been on another record label they might have had more success. Its amazing what someone is willing to pay for nostalgia. I think BnB put out a new release of old live recordings recently.
