I believe he likes the sound of his own voice, but then again, he always has...I've never seen a Gene Simmons interview where he doesn't come off as a pompous, pretentious braggart - however, he has been around longer than dirt, so perhaps he's earned that right...
I do get a little irritated though, everytime I hear a "rock star" of Simmons' genre and era talk about drugs and how it was glamorized by another medium...Hollywood didnot make drugs socially acceptable - the artist from the 60's, 70's, and 80's did.
By the way, I think A&E is getting ready to run a "Family Jewels" marathon.
I think Sam Kinnison once said that rock against drugs was like Christians against Christ - rock created drugs...I tend to agree.
