Mayhem: Bad Records I Own-Giuffria I Must Be Dreaming

Yep...I own the 2nd Giuffria record....used to play it a lot...then I realized they were awful...kinda of the bastard child of Journey and Foreigner...simply terrible. Though I will say, I thought David Glenn Eisley's voice was fine, he just needed better material.

The bastard child of Journey, Foreigner AND Redken hair care products.

I was in my Slayer phase when Giuffria hit so I sidestepped Greg and the boys. Was the second record named Silk and Steel? If I remember correctly, it was more silk than steel.

Your recollection of bad music surpasses even mine oh wise O.M.O.M. Yes, the 2nd record was Silk and Steel...The silk was in reference to their hair made silky by the Redken hair care products. The steel was from the revolver you placed at your temple while subjected to their music.

I Must Be Dreaming was actually a Mink DeVille cover...I think they were trying to be clever...but as Spinal Tap taught us, its a fine line between clever and stupid. This was their last record..thank god.

I had way too much disposable income back then...I bought everything....sadly I wish I had been broke when I bought this crap.
