Kiss - Domino

The last great single from a band that I really used to enjoy. After this record,Revenge, Kiss stopped being a band and started selling nostalgia and caskets. Crank it up, they are your Rocktober feature artist of the day

Yep, Revenge was pretty much it for me too. Carnival Of Souls had a couple of bright spots but after that, they became a nostalgia act.

You know what I really liked about Revenge? It seemed like for the first time since, I dunno, Lick it Up, they were actually trying. I think Paul never stopped giving it his all but Gene freely admits he didn't give a damn for a good spell. Revenge was just a solid, rockin' album with tons of hooks that sounded great loud. Revenge is the very definition of a fun record. I put it among their top five if not top 3.

You know why it was the best record since Lick It Up? Two words, Vinnie Vincent. He co-wrote all but 2 songs on LIU and had a hand in all the cool songs on Revenge. He may be a goofball but he could write a song like nobody's business.
